James Jake James is a multi-disciplinary artist from the small coastal town of Fingal Head, Australia. His vibrant, gestural works playfully explore what it means to be happy and human.

With a background in film, JJ brings a cinematic and technological element to his art, embracing bold colours and high contrast. He continues to work in film alongside his art practice, contributing to large-scale productions.

James began painting in New York City in 2019, and just months later, sold out his debut collection Saint Cheap Easy in London. This early success inspired him to pursue painting more seriously.

Since then, his work has been exhibited across the globe, with exhibitions in England, the United States, Canada, France, Indonesia, and of course, Australia.
