James Jake James is a multi-disciplinary artist from the small coastal town of Fingal Head, Australia. His vibrant and gestural pieces explore the relationship between order and chaos. Reminding us that life is an exciting mixture of both.

James comes from a background in film. This medium has majorly influenced his art practice, favouring bright colours and extreme contrast.

He first started painting in New York City in 2019, and a few months later sold this entire body of work ‘Saint Cheap Easy’ in London.  After this, he was inspired to continue painting and pursue art full-time.

Since then, he has produced and showcased works in England, America, Canada, France, Indonesia, and Australia.
